CCS 2009-2010 School Day Will Remain the Same First Day of School - August 31. Students report to their homeroom by 8:15 AM. Dismissal begins at 2:35 PM. (Kindergarten will dismiss at Noon the first week of school.) Busing will continue to be provided.
Summer Reading Program Requirements Grade 1 - 20 Easy Reader Books Grade 2 - 20 Easy Reader Books (read by the student) Grade 3 - 8 Books over 40 pages Grade 4 - 8 Books over 60 pages Grade 5 - 5 Books over 120 pages Grade 6,7,8 - 4 Books over 150 pages ( For grades 6,7, & 8: 1 must be about a Saint, 1 must be a Biography, 2 Fiction books of choice) The Summer Reading Program is Optional
For information regarding 2009-2010 School Year registration for Grades K and 2-5, please call the School Office. Registration is closed for Grades 1, 6, 7 & 8.
